Donate Furniture
hearts+homes is built on a sharing economy. Members of the community share their beautiful, gently used furnishings, home goods, and decorator items with us as a tax-deductible donation. In turn, we share those items with qualified families in need represented by one of our advocacy partners. Families receive items at no cost. We are intentionally selective on behalf of those we serve, so please don’t be surprised if we ask you a few questions before we say “Yes” to your offer.
Donate Funds
hearts+homes is sustained by financial gifts provided by individuals, charitable foundations, and corporate entities. Every dollar counts, every dollar is carefully stewarded, and every dollar donated ensures special-circumstance families receive the practical and spiritual care they need to thrive. For your convenience, our secure online giving portal accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH. Don’t like to give online? We welcome checks, too. We currently have two active giving campaigns: one in support of daily ministry, and one in support of a box truck for deliveries.
Donate Time
hearts+homes offers unique opportunities to roll up your sleeves and get your hands a little dirty. Because we place such a high value on quality, we upcycle (reimagine and refinish) a large portion of the furniture donations we receive. If you have a heart that’s willing to serve and learn, we’ll provide coaching with no experience necessary. Because we’re 100% volunteer led and driven, we offer a wide range of volunteer experiences in addition to upcycling including inventory management, sewing, administrative tasks, home visits with clients, deliveries, and more.
